ode

.

 ode

I shall flee to the heavens

and fall in its glorious abyss;

The stars shall possess me

Me with my own heart aglowing.

I shall travel through Eternity

and there’ll be no now, no had, no maybe;

I shall think of nothing but infinite bliss

Bliss I hoped I’ve brought to thee with a kiss.

I shall cry an ocean of tears

Tears that will turn to diamonds’ glaze

and they shall lie permanently on the firmament

Firmament of memories, of past regrets.

Then I shall detach and be free

Weak I may be, lightness yet will I feel;

My body shall succumb to the ashes

But my soul shall travel along with the mists.

And my mind may falter, but my thoughts won’t go astray

Against that earthen bed will they stay;

As clear as the raindrops so delicate and sweet

Will they shower alight these gloomy canopies.

And my lip may tremble as the numbness overtakes

Strong is my heart- I will lay still;

These flames won’t be tamed, I longed for liberty

and hopefully be remembered: Death, do come conquer me.
